A frosty start to the day.. cold and dark but what beautiful sunrises. I noticed a photograph of the most beautiful sunrise and it was taken in my region and it was in OK! Magazine. (I'm not admitting to reading that rubbish... I just look at the pictures! :DD )
Blog.Co.Uk sent me an e-mail saying I hadn't logged in for over 90 days. I must admit to just completely forgetting about the place. I did a couple of entries a while back and I quite liked the meeting the few responders I had. I do have a friend over here who blogs a every now and then but all the others were new 'faces'.
Things are pretty uneventful in my everyday life I suppose I just feel I haven't enough to share. (For two blogs, as I already have a blog that I use only a little bit more than this one!) Why do I even have two blogs if I haven't enough to fill one!
*I'm loving all these little smiley's! I could play for hours! I think I'd be able to use every expression at least once!
Having mentioned the uneventful day to day life, last Satruday was a little bit different! I remember saying to myself on the morning,
"Wouldn't it be nice if something a little exciting happened today?"
*Wish granted*
Our bit of excitement was the discovery of Fly!
We were all just fastening our seatbelts up in my car as we were going to visit the local pet store to buy Scruff, my dads dog, a new coat.
My dad noticed the collie at the top of the street and we all thought it unusual to see a dog wandering on its own. We watched it for a while longer as the dog appeared to take a 'hiding' position down the side of a parked car. The only problem with that the dog was 'hiding' on the roadside so cars were having to swerve and slow down to avoid it. I was concerned and just like what any other concerned mother would do, I sent my daughter up the road to coax the dog onto the safety of the pavement. My daughter checked the dogs collar and discovered a name and number disc. THat's when we found out his name was fly. So I telephoned his 'mum' and explained what had happened. She was delighted, you see her husband had already telephoned her to say that Fly had been spooked by a firework (middle of a Saturday afternoon!) and had took off. He had been searching for him for the past two hours.
My daughter opened the car door for Fly, it took him three seconds to jump in and take a comfy space next to Scruff. Scruff was highly excited! A Friend!
Withing 10 minutes he was delivered back to a rather happy owner!

So that was my excitement. It wasn't much vut it brightened my day! Oh and I got to meet FLly who was one of the cutest collies I have ever come across.

BTW! Scruff looks mighty fine in her new barbour jacket! Very swish!
